Egr valve Peugeot partner 1.6 hdi broken after 2 months. Hello all. Well I swapped my egr valve about two months ago. And I did fit a "Quality part" Valeo 700474 on my Peugeot Partner tepee 1.6 hdi 2010 and I did the recalibration of egr valve and butterfly mixer (guessing theese two are in the egr assembly as a whole).

Remove pipes going to and from the airbox, remove the fuel filter, then undo the two bolts holding the fuel filter bracket in place and remove the bracket. The EGR valve is jsut below this its held in with 2 bolts that are a little awkward to get to. Just disconnecting the wires will throw up a fault code.

SOURCE: peugeot 307 1.6 peugeot and citreon cars do bite high generaly, it is hydaulic there is no adjustment. but it also depends on how high it is ?? does it slip if you slightly rest your foot on whilst driving?? they do have a problem with the bearings going through the cover as it is the same bearing as a HDI . but you woud notice this as a different problem. ie noise or vibration on
