If there is a loss of engine power or if throttle cuts out then may be its the time to change fuel filter. I've had the car looked at with Peugeot Planet thanks to Ginger Magic and we got the following info but now I'm unsure where to go next. Fault code: P0087. Engine speed: 1028rpm. Diesel pressure: 125 bars. Diesel limited pressure: 572 bars. Pump output: 14 mm3/seconde. Diesel flow regulator voltage: 1862mV. Mileage: 42872km.

The 1.6 THP BMW N13B16 engine also struggles with the carbon deposits on the cylinder head components. However, this is due to the direct fuel injection characteristic where the intake fuel does not clean the intake and valve.
